This isn't a good year

Hi everyone, today I would like to talk about the things that happened in the term that, finally, ended yesterday.
To begin, honestly, I don’t think that good things have happened to me, just things, I want to say that, starting the year, I couldn’t concentrate properly on my studies. I know that at the beginning it’s something that usually happens, but I think I didn’t give my best, I missed the best opportunities to pass the semester in a relaxed way, so now I'm in difficult situations to pass the subjects, which in some way, makes me sad and makes me feel useless.

Well anyway, I think my only achievements have been, in spite of everything, that I have found wonderful people in the university and in the career, and that the semester I enjoyed it a lot, although, there are some things that I would have liked to change and that I didn’t really want them to end that way, however because of my mistakes, they ended up in a mess ☹.

And well, although the classes are over, I still have controls to give, I hope to pass them and get an exemption, so that I don’t have to give exams, then, finally, I can rest in peace and be able to sleep all the day.

What’s your favourite kind of music?

Hi everyone, today I would like to talk about Music. When I was a kid, my parents and my family in general always listen classic rock, so I grew up with the same taste of music.

But nowadays, I like a lot the derivatives of the rock, I mean, heavy metal, alternative rock, but my two favourites kind of music are post-hardcore with bands like Pierce the Veil and A Day to Remember, and metalcore with bands like Bring me the Horizon and Motionless in White .

In fact, my two favourites bands are Pierce the Veil and Bring me the Horizon. The reason why I like a lot both bands is for the lyrics of their songs. For me, is as if the letter counts parts of my life, and makes me feel identified.

My favourite song from Pierce the Veil is “Caraphernelia”. And their concerts are so good, I still remember when they came to Santiago de Chile in July, 2016. I went to the airport to see them, after to the hotel, take pictures with them, it was so perfect.

And my favourite song from Bring me the Horizon is “Don’t go”. They came to Chile in 2016 too. And the concert was perfect but a little bit dangerous too, because some people faint because of get cramped and get breathless.

The chemical side of Coca-Cola

Hi everyone, today I would like to talk about a person who I admire a lot because he’s an expert in chemistry and he created a distinguished drink.

His name is John Stith Pemberton, he was born in Georgia, in 1831. He was an American pharmacist recognized for having created the formula of Coca-Cola.

He studied to be a pharmacist and graduated at the age of nineteen years old. He fought in Seseción’s war in 1865, where he was wounded because of a sabre cut on his chest. To calm the pain he used morphine, to which he became addicted. In search of a cure for his addiction, he worked on creating a drink that will help him and invented Coca-Cola. In the beginning, it was called Pemberton’s French Wine Coca.

His idea was to find the formula of a perfect alcoholic beverage, and in his research, he found information about the virtues of the coca plant to stimulate, help digestión, and more health benefits, so he decided to use it in his master formula, which was ready on May 8, in 1889.

He was mainly interested in getting the cure for headaches and anxiety and ended up creating the drink that combinate lime, cinnamon, coca leaves and seeds of Brazilian bush.

And of course, I like him because he created one of my favourites drinks that I use for my perfects alcoholics beverages at the present.
